Artist as catalyst 2024: Miami (1/2)
This year I had to privilege to serve as the Program Lead for Artist as Catalyst 2024. The program is a 4-day artist bootcamp for emerging artist in Miami and LA. My role was to pass along my knowledge of the arts ecosystem in Miami and curate the workshops, speakers and panels.
GRASS STAINS 2024: Vizcaya
Grass Stains by Pioneer Winter Collective is a week long dance residency where artists make site specific works. 2024's Grass Stains was held at Vizcaya Museum. This blog post is a reflection from artist Alexander Zastera's experience making a dance work focused around heat.
